![]() ![]() Bradford in 2016 set what was then an NFL record for completion percentage, completing 71.6 percent of his pass attempts (insert golf clap here). But, sure enough, Bradford etched his name into the NFL record book during his 7-8 run as Minnesota’s starter that season. And Bradford sure did not have what you’d describe as historic performances during the Vikings’ four-game losing streak that year, leading an offense that averaged 14 points per game during the stretch. Neither are his 3,877 passing yards (16th). 19 ranking in yards per attempt (7) that year is certainly not a strong indicator. Granted, very little about his performance that year suggests this could be possible. Did you know Sam Bradford had a historic season for the Minnesota Vikings in 2016? It’s true.
